Launched in 1999 as the Science & Technology News Network (STN2), ScienCentral News seeks to improve the quality and increase the number of science stories being aired on television newscasts.

We report on the fast-changing world of science and technology and how it affects your life. Clearly. Accurately. Our news desks are staffed by nine producers and writers reporting on a broad range of topics—from cloning to cancer research, brain science to bioterrorism, nanotechnology to climate change.
