“The Day The Earth Stood Still” to be beamed into space– quirky PR stunt where they are using “redundant high-powered klystron amplifiers connected by a traveling waveguide to a five meter parabolic dish antenna.” The funny thing is that Earth has been beaming video into space ever since TV was invented. We think that’s why the aliens never come.
